We are currently switching from our summer to fall/winter menu. Every day, all day, you can now get enchiladas, tacos, tortas, ceviche, carne asada – come in and check it out!

Please note that in the summer we basically operate as a taqueria (taco shop) with a limited menu of crowd favorites. Why? Because we have a very small kitchen and the patio triples the size of our restaurant. And, frankly, when it’s hot out most people just want fish tacos and a margarita. In the winter, our menu expands to a variety of dishes inspired by every region of Mexico.


Sourcing Ingredients

When you walk into Little Water Cantina you can be assured that the initiative that drove us to be the first LEED-CI Platinum Candidate restaurant in the PNW (i.e., the most energy efficient restaurant in the PNW) carries through to how we source our ingredients. We use local, natural and organic products whenever possible.

A few examples:

*All of our pork (for posole, carnitas and empanadas) comes from Carlton Farms, a family-owned, all-natural farm in northwest Oregon.

*Our Northwest grain-fed beef comes from St. Helens.

*During the summer we source produce like chilies, squash blossoms and tomatoes from Alvarez Organic Farms in Mabton, Washington.

*The sustainable Pacific Cod we use for our fish tacos comes from Lopez Island-based Jones Family Farms, as do our mussels, which are from Penn Cove on Whidbey Island.

*The family-owned and operated fishing vessel, St. Jude, provides the albacore tuna for our ceviche.

*Our chicken comes from local Draper Valley Farms. This means you can enjoy our adobo chicken torta or smoked chicken enchiladas knowing that they are free-range, fed a vegetarian diet, and antibiotic, hormone and preservative free.

*Our table salsa and many of our sauces use organic tomatoes out of California.


We’re more than a great place to get a fresh-squeezed margarita. We’ve spent a great deal of time and care selecting interesting, even rare, varietals from around the globe that pair well with our menu.


Little Water’s bartenders are some of the best craft cocktail mixologists in Seattle. We make many of our own infusions, tinctures, syrups, and liqueurs. This means you can expect more than what we believe is the best margarita in Seattle. Our skilled bartenders have a wide selection of unique liquors at their disposal and the ability to mix up all the classics, or something enitrely original just for you.
